Following a gruesome tractor accident, 10-year-old Ali underwent a six-month rehabilitation process at Sheba.

Amid the ongoing conflict, Sheba remains a source of daily triumphs over adversity. The latest of these inspirational tales came to life at The Edmond and Lily Safra Children’s Hospital, where six months ago, 10-year-old Ali was admitted following a severe tractor accident. Given the dire condition of his legs, it was clear that he would be facing a very long road to recovery. Fortunately, with the help and support of Sheba experts, Ali had achieved a rehabilitation that was nothing short of astounding.

Ali’s recovery is not only a testament to his own strength, but also of the unwavering spirit and determination of the medical professionals at the Safra Children’s Hospital.

Upon her son’s discharge from Sheba, Ali’s mother bid Safra farewell: “I want to give a huge ‘thank you’ to Safra’s Children’s Hospital. I didn’t think Ali would ever walk again, but thanks to Safra, he can.”
