The British Friends of Sheba Returning to Life Gala celebrated unity, philanthropy, and resilience, with special guest Nathaniel Buzolic.

The British Friends of Sheba Returning to Life Gala was an evening dedicated to unity, entertainment, and philanthropy, bringing together supporters from all walks of life. The gala was a testament to the strength and resilience of our community, united by a common cause and a shared vision for the future.

We extend a special acknowledgement to esteemed auctioneer Duncan Moir, whose charisma elevated the evening’s auction, and to our distinguished guest of honor, Australian actor Nathaniel Buzolic. Renowned for his roles in “The Vampire Diaries,” its spin-off “The Originals,” and the recent series “Legacies,” Mr. Buzolic brought a touch of Hollywood glamor to the event, captivating the audience with his presence.

Mr. Buzolic’s profound solidarity with Israel, especially following the events of October 7th, resonated deeply with attendees. His commitment to the cause and his heartfelt words underscored the evening’s theme of returning to life and rebuilding with hope and determination.

The event was perhaps highlighted by Ben Benyamin and Gali Segal. The young couple were at the Nova Festival on October 7th and amid the attack by Hamas terrorists, both lost their right legs. In an emotional moment, these two resilient survivors took to the stage and shared their daring story of survival with all the guests in attendance.

Our deepest gratitude goes out to everyone who attended and contributed to the event’s success and an extra special thanks goes out to Lesley Khlastchi, the President of British Friends of Sheba. The gala was not just a celebration but a powerful reminder of the impact of collective effort and the enduring power of community spirit.
