Background

The changes of the health system all over the world require updated approaches in order to cope with current and future challenges.
The advanced nursing management course will enable nurses to expand their professional expertise and to build the capabilities and competencies required for leading the nursing teams, team building for care planning, evaluation of care, health-education and follow-up of care.
Trainees will acquire the competencies required to undertake leadership positions in clinical departments or services and to provide specialized care requiring clinical decision-making and critical thinking.

Main Objectives

To enhance the knowledge and skills of senior nurses in the nursing administration of clinical departments or other clinical institutions.

To prepare future nurse managers for leadership positions in hospital departments

Ms. Dr. Anat Peles Bortz (RN, PhD) (RN, MA)

Dr. Peles Bortz PhD, is responsible for nursing staff professional and educational development and serves as the JCI accreditation coordinator at Sheba Medical Center.
Dr. Pelez Bortz pursued her formal education at Tel Aviv University, where she completed her BA, M.A, and PhD degrees. She is a senior academic member and lecturer at Tel Aviv University, Nursing Department and passionate about nursing research. Throughout the years, she served as an editorial member of various publications in Israel and internationally and published over a dozen academic papers.
