Objectives:

  • Enhance dermatological diagnostic competencies (clinical and dermoscopical)
  • Monitoring of high-risk melanoma patients using total body photography (TBP)
  • Acquire competencies of technologies for the treatment of advanced skin cancers:
      • o Dermato-surgery: Mohs surgery unit
      o Superficial Radiotherapy (SRT) for skin cancers
  • Phototherapy and inflammatory skin diseases (day-care unit)
  • Specialized hair clinics: laser clinics, hair clinics, contact dermatitis
  • Pediatric dermatology

Clinical Activities in the dermatology department:

(will be determined according to the candidate’s preferences)

  • Participation in the ward and day care unit rounds, clinical discussions and outpatient clinics
  • Participation in Dermato-oncology and general dermatology clinical discussions
  • Observing Mohs surgery and dermato-surgery procedures
  • Observing radiotherapy treatments for skin cancers
  • Observing laser procedures
  • Observing patch testing procedure and participation in a contact dermatitis clinic
