Background

With the progress and development of surgical technologies, the nursing care of a surgical patient has become more complex and unique.
To promote each patient’s optimal health, recovery, and personal welfare, nurses in the hospital and outpatient setting must demonstrate extensive knowledge and skills in caring for these complex cases.
