Sheba Medical Center Leads Dun’s 100 Ranking for the Fifth Consecutive Year
The 2025 Dun’s 100 list recognized Sheba physicians across nine medical disciplines. The distribution includes 23 doctors in gynecology and fertility, 20 in surgery, 20 in ophthalmology, 13 in cardiology, and 10 in orthopedics. Additionally, ENT and oral medicine each had seven representatives, dermatology had five, and plastic surgery had three.
This national recognition of individual physician excellence complements the international distinction Sheba has received as an institution, with Newsweek consistently ranking Sheba Medical Center among the world’s top 10 hospitals. Together, these honors reaffirm a simple truth: Sheba’s strength lies not only in its innovation and infrastructure, but in the compassion and professionalism of its physicians who care for patients every day. From local acknowledgment of our clinicians to global recognition of our institution, these achievements reflect our shared commitment to advancing healthcare and improving lives at every level.
Consistency in Inconsistent Circumstances
This milestone reflects the collective achievements of our medical community and an ongoing commitment to clinical excellence across all specialties. Sustaining this level of recognition over five years, including through a global pandemic and other challenging periods, reflects the consistent quality of care delivered by our physicians and their continued focus on advancing medical practice.
Methodology Based on Professional Assessment
Dun & Bradstreet conducts the ranking through a structured evaluation process that includes questionnaires and professional recommendations. The assessment weighs reputation within the medical community, years of experience, and professional seniority.
The evaluation examines doctors from hospitals throughout Israel, providing a comprehensive view of medical expertise nationwide. This rigorous approach ensures the ranking reflects genuine professional standing and peer recognition.
Beyond the Numbers
At Sheba, we believe that sustained leadership in healthcare isn’t defined by a single milestone, but by the daily dedication of physicians advancing medicine and improving patient outcomes. Dun’s recognition reflects not just individual excellence, but a shared institutional mission: advancing medical care while never losing sight of the people we care for. It’s this balance of innovation and compassion that defines who we are as an organization and drives everything we do.
