Forging & Deepening a Relationship with the USA
Though U.S. Embassy personnel around the globe are rotated to new positions every few years, Sheba maintains a strong and cordial relationship with the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv.
This past week we welcomed Mike Russell, the new incoming Commercial Attaché from the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv, along with members from both the economic and ambassadorial liaison teams—Wendy Nassmacher, Kara Abramson, Molly Pfeffer, Hila Louwers, and Inbar Marom—to Sheba’s ARC Innovation Center. Prof. Eyal Zimlichman, Sheba’s Chief Transformation & Innovation Officer (and founder of ARC) shared ARC’s ‘cookbook’ for global healthcare impact, and invited the team to get a first- hand look at some of the new technologies that are destined to change the course of healthcare on a global scale.
The team was particularly impressed with AISAP, a transformative start-up created inside Sheba that focuses on advanced cardiac ultrasound diagnostics, which recently received FDA approval for use in the USA and beyond.
