GLOBES: Sheba is #1 Healthcare Brand in Israel
Each and every year, Globes, Israel’s largest business daily publication conducts a thorough survey of the top 100 consumer brands in the country across all sectors, including healthcare.
The newest survey determined that Sheba Medical Center is not only the #1 hospital in Israel but is also the #1 healthcare brand in the country, way ahead of other hospitals and Kupot Cholim (HMO’s).
There are many determining factors, which have catapulted Sheba up the branding ladder.
First and foremost, Sheba’s “Top 10 World’s Best Hospital” ranking by Newsweek for 5 out of the last 6 years (as well as being ranked #1 in Israel by the publication for 6 consecutive years), has created impact. It’s not unusual to hear a patient or potential patient say that they want to be treated at Sheba because of our Newsweek ranking. And Sheba’s public relations and marketing departments have done a yeoman’s job in promoting this accolade.
To wit, Globes acknowledged that Sheba has generated a series of headlines with its top notch care for wounded civilians and soldiers since October 7, as well as most of the former hostages. During the course of the year, Sheba has scored high-marks in Ministry of Health patient surveys, with many of our doctors also being cited as being the best in their field of expertise by Forbes Israel.
Globes also highlighted Sheba’s devotion to its burgeoning ARC start-up ecosystem, which constantly works on game-changing healthcare innovations. This week’s edition zeroes in on several technologies that contain the DNA to save and change lives (see below).
