Going Home…”Returning to Life”
By the time you read this, almost all of our 10 ‘liberated’ hostages will have returned home to resume their daily lives after 2 plus years in captivity.
Both our medical and patient experience teams performed admirably during the past week, earning deserved praise from both the liberated hostages and their families.
But the ‘liberated hostages’ journeys back to robust physical and psychological well-being have only just begun. They will return to our “Returning to Life” clinic dedicated to repairing the bodies and souls of both the hostages and their immediate families in the coming weeks and months—for as long as needed.
And while we can breathe a sigh of relief for the moment, we cast a wary eye on developments in Gaza and pray that our soldiers and citizens will not have to be dragged in once more to the cycle of war that has enveloped us since 1948 and beyond.
