Sheba Physicians Lead Forbes Israel’s Clinician Ranking

222 Physicians from Sheba made it to the list

A total of 222 specialist physicians from Sheba made it to the list of 1,428 doctors, which included 36 specialties across various medical disciplines. Sheba doctors lead in several specialties, including obstetrics, gynecology and fertility, cardiology, endocrinology, genetics, internal medicine, oncology, psychiatry, and rheumatology. Overall, Sheba physicians lead the way in around 50 percent of the specialties.

In preparing its ranking of the top Israeli physicians, Forbes relied on peer reviews but barred doctors from ranking physicians in their own institutions to avoid bias.

Israeli Ministry of Health: Sheba as Top-Performing Hospital

This latest recognition follows that of the Israeli Ministry of Health, which recently declared Sheba to be Israel’s top-performing hospital in its national quality of care report, where Sheba received a score of 100% across 13 different categories.

Earlier this year, Newsweek magazine affirmed Sheba’s selection as one of the world’s top 10 hospitals for the 4th consecutive year, citing Sheba’s development and deployment of cutting-edge medical technologies as a key factor contributing to their ranking.
