Once again, Sheba Medical Center was privileged to be chosen by the Government of Israel to receive the first 3 freed hostages from Hamas captivity after 471 tortuous days.

Scenes of jubilation resounded across the campus as the IDF helicopters touched down on the Sheba helipad, from where Romy, Emily and Doron were whisked across the campus to the Lily and Edmond Safra Children’s Hospital, in order to meet their loved ones and be examined by the medical staff.

This was a precision operation orchestrated by the IDF, Ministry of Health and Sheba Medical Center, where Director General, Prof. Yitshak Kreiss, commanded their arrival and integration from the hospital’s futuristic new Care Control Tower (Operations Center).
Perhaps the most emotional moment came when Sheba’s Chief Rabbi Yoav Okanin, recited the “Shehecheyanu” blessing as the helicopter landed with the hostages (see EXCLUSIVE video from that moment below).
