Taking a Direct Approach to Create Global Impact
Despite the ominous current events, Sheba Medical Center is moving full speed ahead with creating and sponsoring several headline-making conferences in the coming days and weeks.
This Thursday, Sheba’s annual ARC Summit will take place at the David InterContinental Hotel in Tel Aviv. Hundreds of renowned international business leaders, entrepreneurs and start-up executives will gather to hear and see the latest innovations from ARC, network and create collaborative efforts to transform the future of healthcare around the globe.
Next week, another unique gathering will take place in the same hotel, “Brothers for Life”, an organization helmed by injured IDF veterans, which provides critical help to other injured combat veterans. Top doctors from the USA and EU will join their colleagues from Sheba Medical Center and other Israeli hospitals, in order to compare notes on the latest innovative treatments available and actually perform procedures on soldiers who are in need of life-changing treatments at Sheba.
On Sept. 22, several of Sheba’s top doctors and research specialists will be highlighted at the Science Abroad conference in Manhattan. Science Abroad harnesses the power of both senior Israeli scientists who are living abroad and their Jewish-American colleagues to network with each other on the latest developments in their respective fields and offer opportunities to return home to Israel.
