Sheba ‘ARC’s’ with Charite in Germany
(BERLIN)-Prof. Yitshak Kreiss, Director General Sheba Medical Center and Prof. Dr. Heyo K. Kroemer, CEO of Charité Berlin, announced that Sheba will create an ARC innovation hub at Charite, which will be part of the ARC global ecosystem that also includes the Mayo Clinic, Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, University Hospital in Zurich and many other renowned hospitals.
“Due to the many challenges facing healthcare in both Germany and Israel, only through the collaboration of our two leading global institutions will we be able to spearhead major needed transformations. We look forward to working with Charité to implement innovative digital healthcare solutions at scale and improve care for our patients in both countries and around the world,” said Prof. Kreiss.
The meeting took place the day after Sheba’s annual charity event in Berlin, which attracted the crème de la crème of German society. The charity auction raised €130,000 for medical equipment that will be used in Sheba’s Edmond and Lily Safra Children’s Hospital.
