According to the latest Newsweek & Statista ranking, Sheba maintained its position as the world’s 13th best smart hospital while also being designated one of the top 50 cardiology, neurosurgery, and gastroenterology hospitals.

Already recognizing Sheba as one of the world’s top 10 hospitals for the last four years running, Newsweek & Statista just released new rankings featuring the world’s best specialized hospitals and best smart hospitals. For the second year in a row, Sheba was named the world’s 13th best smart hospital, in addition to ranking among the world’s top 50 cardiology, neurosurgery, and gastroenterology hospitals.

The List of 300 World’s Best Smart Hospitals

Newsweek & Statista’s World’s Best Smart Hospitals list includes the 300 leading smart hospitals in
the field of smart technologies from 28 different countries, who were ranked according to an international online survey of hospital managers and health care professionals as well as a digital technology implementation and usage assessment,

Through ARC (acronym for Accelerate, Redesign, Collaborate), its innovation arm, Sheba leads healthcare’s digital transformation by cultivating an ecosystem that prioritizes digital health, promotes open innovation, advances international collaborations, and provides a home for innovation and innovators – pushing the boundaries of medicine on a global level.

When ranking smart hospitals according to medical specialties, Newsweek & Statista based the rankings on a global survey to which over 40,000 medical professionals (doctors, health care professionals, and hospital managers) from over 20 countries were invited in addition to notable global accreditation organizations: CARF International, IAC and JCI.
