The Women of Sheba Are Our Greatest ‘Startups’

International Women’s Day might have come and gone but at Sheba Medical Center there are many women from all walks of life who play integral roles in making our facility one of the ‘World’s Best Hospitals’!

Last week, we showcased some of their stories on our social media channels, which drew a phenomenal response on a global scale. To the point where a major American-Israeli TV star shared one of those videos with her own social media audience.

Outside of Israel, especially in the USA and EU, most people are clueless about the daily co-existence dynamics which exist at Sheba and in Israeli society in general. When a group of young medical students from the University of Indiana were exposed to the cordial ebb and flow between Jewish and Arab medical professionals and interaction with Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza, during a visit to Sheba earlier this week, they admitted they had no idea such a dynamic exists.

Which is why we also thrilled to showcase one of our brightest Israeli-Arab start-up entrepreneurs Shada Abu Rass in this week’s unique edition, which underscores-hope without boundaries.
