2023: Telling Our Stories Across the Global Media Village

In today’s media global village, there are a myriad of outlets where people can receive information instantaneously. Digital and social media platforms are rapidly replacing the standard/original print and TV news outlets, though the latter two mainstream platforms still retain sizeable audiences.

As Sheba Medical Center expands its influence around the globe, we will widen the playing field in how we tell our stories. In the coming months, Sheba Global will be unveiling an array of unique media initiatives with a renewed emphasis on social media, where we will be telling stories of our incredible doctors, as they deal with the daily challenges they face working inside and outside of our incredible medical center.

Two of those stories are highlighted in this week’s edition.

In particular, we have launched the first-ever network TV quality YouTube series called ‘Lab Talks’. Anchored by Amital Isaac, an Emmy Award winning producer/health reporter, the monthly series will change the way you think about medicine and the doctors who endure professional and personal trials and tribulations along the way.

EPISODE ONE: Prof. Gili Regev-Yochay takes viewers inside her professional and personal battles to disrupt and stymie the COVID-19 pandemic.
