Sheba Achieves 100% National Quality Targets for Fourth Consecutive Year

Building trust through accuracy and high standards
According to Dr. Amit Gutkind, Head of Medical Division, Quality and Patient Safety at Sheba Medical Center,
“Medical quality is measured according to the level of care and the ability to ensure consistency, accuracy, transparency, and the setting of ambitious goals of quality and excellence—not only at the local level but also at the global level. Today, a person who needs medical treatment has the tools to choose where they will receive the highest-quality care. The data reflects the professional work of the teams and our ongoing commitment to raising the bar of medical services in Israel through quality indicators based on international standards, with the aim of establishing Israel as a model for global medical excellence.”
Shaping tomorrow’s care through openness and collaboration
Sheba became the first Israeli medical institution to publish its quality metrics in 2018, reflecting a sustained commitment to openness and measurable progress. Guided by its mission to serve as a global ambassador for healthcare, Sheba shares knowledge and expertise to help raise medical standards worldwide while continuing to provide high-quality care to patients across diverse communities.
Rooted in the values of compassion, excellence, collaboration, integrity, and innovation, Sheba works to translate these principles into real-world impact that improves patient care and elevates clinical standards.
