Newsweek and Statista’s prestigious annual ranking evaluates leading hospitals around the globe field by field, and Sheba’s prominent presence therein reflects its multidisciplinary clinical excellence and global standing across diverse areas of medicine.
Newsweek and Statista’s methodology is built on three pillars: a global peer survey in which medical professionals recommend institutions in their own field of expertise, an assessment of relevant accreditations, and a survey of hospitals’ use of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures, data that captures how patients themselves experience their care. These are weighted to produce a single score for each hospital across the surveyed specialties.
Rather than the product of any single department, this kind of distinction depends on consistent performance throughout Sheba, from extensive clinical experience, research, and medical innovation to advanced technologies and multidisciplinary teams recognized as leaders in their fields.
